Even though there are several products that will do this, I recommend going through a natural detox treatment, which in each and every case will keep you from ingesting even more chemicals into your metabolism.

    Stop ingesting alcohol

    One important thing you should do for a natural detox is to stop drinking alcohol, or drink at least with less frequency or in less quantity. Your liver will definitely appreciate this, as alcohol is one of the hardest substances to break down in your body. Besides this drinking less alcohol has many other benefits that will help you in the long run.

    Stop smoking immediately

    Another important thing is to stop smoking completely. Unlike alcohol, which can still be consumed from time to time in moderate quantities, smoking just is not acceptable when you have decided to follow a natural detox treatment. There are so many polluting and damaging particles in a cigarette that it completely ruins the natural detox process. Not to mention that you are putting yourself in risk of many severe diseases, like asthma and cancer.

    Drink a lot of water

    Drinking water is a vital and very important part of a natural detox treatment. Luckily, this part is easy, cheap, and does not require you to go to a clinic or a gym. Just get eight glasses of water a day, which amounts more or less to half a gallon. The more water your body has at disposal, the easier it makes the natural detox process of your body via the liver, the kidney and the pores of your skin. Besides this another good side effect of drinking water is, that it will make your skin look much healthier.

    Start physical exercise

    Last but not least, engage in some physical activity everyday. It does not necessarily have to be a 2 hour session at the gym. A small walk for 15 minutes will be okay. Of course, it would be much better if you engage at least once a week in a physical exercise that makes you sweat, because sweating is part of your body’s natural detox system.
